Nasmalt was born from the fervent desire of a passionate group of Nigerian entrepreneurs to participate in the socio-economic development of their country, based on their values and heritage. Their quest for a new company which would create better opportunities for more local people, and a new product of international standard which would challenge old established ones, led to the founding of a non-alcoholic beverage company known as TAFSAN Beverages Limited in 2005. The founders are members of the NASRUL-LAHI-IL-FATHI (NASFAT) of Nigeria – an Islamic organisation that aims to promote Islamic knowledge and brotherly association.

Having all had distinguished careers in the Brewing industry, they combined their vast experience to develop a unique malt recipe for a high-quality malt drink which they called NASMALT. They chose Passion as a market entry platform.

Nasmalt is exclusively imported and distributed in the United Kingdom by Kato Enterprises Limited.
